The Difference between Focusing on Problems and Focusing on Solutions
Case 1
When NASA began the launch of astronauts into space, they found out that the pens wouldn't work at zero gravity (ink won't flow down to the writing surface). To solve this problem, it took them one decade and $12 million.
They developed a pen that worked at zero gravity, upside down, underwater, in practically any surface including crystal and in a temperature range from below freezing to over 300 degrees C. And what did the Russians do...?? They used a pencil.
Case 2
One of the most memorable case studies on Japanese management was the case of the empty soap box, which happened in one of Japan's biggest cosmetics companies. The company received a complaint that a consumer had bought a soap box that was empty. Immediately the authorities isolated the problem to the assembly line, which transported all the packaged boxes of soap to the delivery department. For some reason, one soap box went through the assembly line empty. Management asked its engineers to solve the problem.
Post-haste, the engineers worked hard to devise an X-ray machine with high-resolution monitors manned by two people to watch all the soap boxes that passed through the line to make sure they were not empty. No doubt, they worked hard and they worked fast but they spent a whoopee amount to do so.
But when a rank-and-file employee in a small company was posed with the same problem, he did not get into complications of X-rays, etc., but instead came out with another solution. He bought a strong industrial electric fan and pointed it at the assembly line. He switched the fan on, and as each soap box passed the fan, it simply blew the empty boxes out of the line.
Moral
Always look for simple solutions. Devise the simplest possible solution that solves the problems :-).

Learning about islam
Learning about Islam
from Fatima
Asalam u alaykum
How are you today? I am fine Alhamdulillah
Today our lesson is: Learning about Islam. What is Islam? What is it talking about? Who is our enemy? Let me answer your first question. Islam means to believe in Allah SBT and to not make partners with Him and disobey Him, remember my sisters and brothers Allah is going to be our judge on the day of akhirah. He will ask us what we did in this Dunya (world). My brothers and sisters, the one who do`s bad deeds will go to the hellfire, and the one who do`s good deeds will go to jannah (paradise). I will answer your second question. Islam Is talking about to do good things like to help the poor , and celebrate Eid to obey Him go to hajj once in your life time to pray your Salah (prayer) and fast and search for lailatul qadr in the 10 odd days of Ramadan etc. .Now I will answer your third question. Our enemy is shaitan in English you say satan.shaitan is our enemy the rudest enemy in the whole world. Infact he is our open enemy and a close enemy. Remember my brothers and sisters when Allah said: bow down to Adam his orders when Allah SBT said: Bow down to Adam, only did than the angels obey him but one his name was iblis when Allah saw him not obeying him Allah said to him why did you not obey my orders? Iblis said: you made Adam with clay but you made me from fire so fire is better than clay. Allah said: I shall punish you in the hell fire on the day of judgement.iblis said: I don`t care, I will tempt people to sin and I will take them with me to the hell fire. Allah said: you shall tempt people to sin as much as you want but my true believers will never listen to you.so learn from this my sisters and brothers that we must keep trust in Allah. So never listen to shaitan he will try to tempt you and the whole people. May Allah keep us on the straight path.Ameen. And one more thing you have to remember to keep shaitan away from you. You have to say audhu billahi minash shaitan nir rajim.so brothers and sisters please remember these three parts of worship inshallah in the next lesson we will learn about pillars of Islam. You will learn about Islam a lot inshallah.

Abdullah bin masud (radi allahu anhu) narrated: Allah`s Messenger (peace be upon him) said," He who has in his heart, a particle of arrogance, will not enter paradise. " A person said: indeed a person likes to wear beautiful clothe and nice shoes? Allah`s Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Indeed Allah is beautiful and he loves beauty, arrogance means rejection of the truth and contempt for people."

Try to acknowledge the good deed performed by any
one and do not attribute the good deed of a fellow to
someone else and do not be negligent in rewarding. Do not
exaggerate the ordinary work of some one due to his
family status; likewise do not degrade the good job done
by a fellow because of his low family position.
